I just want my checkpoint-experimental versions and my progress of mapping to be saved but they are useless and distracting away out of the only map i want to be submitted. why isnt there an option to submit or update only chosen difficulties?
The only way I can think of is to make a duplicate folder of your map. You might need to sanitize the .osu file by changing BeatmapID and BeatmapSetID to 0 by editing with text editor. That way, you can keep duplicates without affecting the server!
You can move the .osu file of the difficulties you don't want to submit to a different location on your pc (outside the osu song folder) so that they won't show up in-game and only the difficulty you want is uploaded. Simply go to the editor and click on file -> open song folder, select the diffs and do ctrl+x (cut), then paste them somewhere else. If you want to edit them again, you'll have to move them back into the song folder.
