Thanks, I now know its realistic, so I can just a 1TB external Hard drive and have every song ;D

Did you break your Hard dive or did your processor overheat?
I have every ranked+approved beatmap packs and my song folder is about 70G.

You would need a theoretically infinite amount of space up until the point of where humanity seizes to exist and beatmap production ends.

I also have every ranked and approved beatmap (that's somewhere around 70GB, 8 650 songs, 30 000 beatmaps). You probably wouldn't be able to play even half of the songs in the list even if you played for 24 hours a day for a whole week.
TBH, I've been playing for nearly a year and I don't think I've even played 10% of my maplist.
I don't even think I've ever tried to play every map I've downloaded, even before I decided to download every ranked map in existence. My laptop only has about 6GB of maps and I haven't played half of them.
Honest answer -- i attempted to do that from 2007 all the way until about a year ago. Managed to get around 30gb worth of stuff, simply in my /songs/ folder alone
I've only played about 10% of them over the years, mostly being Touhou maps. I DL'ed via torrent (was only about 50G back then?) and it saved tons of time and frustration in mp games. Once you got the packs from BT, all you need to do is keeping up with new ranked map packs and that's pretty easy to dolanxmas wrote:

Same I am up to dat ewith every map and its about 70gb and over 30k maps, I havent played more than 4,000 of them 8I
I lied. I checked the entire folder. I said 30gb. i meant 50gb. larger than i though O__o
For each beatmap packs, mode specific beatmap packs, and approved beatmap packs, it is approximately this much space in beatmap pack form.
And approximately how much space it will take for each individual .osz file.
