[resolved] osu!'s Data folder "a" is corrupted

Problem details: so, i was gonna boot up the game for today, but i was got hit by an error that the "a" folder on the Data folder (which is hidden) is corrupted and unreadable. it still runs fine, but the game might break at the moment and my hard drive might break as well. do i need to reinstall it and/or run the utility that they wanted me to?

Yeah, you should probably run chkdsk.

Reinstalling is not going to do anything if your hard drive is failing, which is a possibility based on what you're seeing.
