---------------
My first attempt in making a map. No one has this song ranked yet, so might as well try it. It is far beyond finished though. I'll be making another difficulty in the future, but if anyone is willing to help me make one, I'd be glad. I hope those who help me mod this enjoys this song as much as I do :)
Thanks to mrdumpling6 for helping me before I put this up
 means the mod recommended has been applied

I like this song :3

Also, did mod in game

19:36 mrdumpling64: your easy should have less stars than your normal difficulty
19:37 mrdumpling64: 00:21:664 (6) - get a new combo
19:38 hersa37: Done
19:38 hersa37: anything else?
19:38 mrdumpling64: 00:28:027 (13) - 00:49:618 (7) - replace with one short slider instead of two hitnotes
19:38 mrdumpling64: this is for "normal" difficulty btw
19:39 hersa37: haven't I sent you a new one?
19:39 mrdumpling64: the one this morning?
19:39 hersa37: yeah
19:40 mrdumpling64: ok dw
19:40 mrdumpling64: all good
19:40 hersa37: How about the hard one?
19:41 mrdumpling64: i reckon 14 for a combo is a bit long
19:41 mrdumpling64: wait let me ask
19:42 hersa37: alright, I'll shorten it
19:42 mrdumpling64: yea
19:43 mrdumpling64: maybe at this point: 00:25:300 (9) -
19:43 mrdumpling64: 00:24:745 - or this point
19:44 mrdumpling64: actually
19:44 hersa37: how bout at 00:23:937
19:44 mrdumpling64: don't shorten it if you don't want to
19:44 mrdumpling64: you can have a larger combo as long as it fits the rhythm
19:44 mrdumpling64: more like 00:25:300 (9) -
19:44 mrdumpling64: actually disregard that
19:45 mrdumpling64: 00:23:937 (7) - is fine for new combo if you want, or just leave it as it is
19:45 hersa37: done
19:46 mrdumpling64: 00:37:118 (4) - is kind of unnecessary IMO
19:46 hersa37: how about rhythm wise?
19:47 mrdumpling64: leave it as is if you want
19:47 mrdumpling64: just I don't really think it fits well
19:47 mrdumpling64: you might get overmapping complaints
19:48 hersa37: It's my first attempt, so I'm expecting lots of complaints
19:48 hersa37: what's overmapping anyway?
19:49 mrdumpling64: overmapping is where you put notes just for the thrill of publishing a map with high difficulty
19:49 mrdumpling64: like, notes which don't really fit any rhythm or instrument whatsoever
19:49 mrdumpling64: just write "this is my first map" in description
19:50 mrdumpling64: you'd get some constructive criticism but less troll comments
19:50 hersa37: is it alright though if I were to put this up on the forums before it's even finished?
19:50 mrdumpling64: 00:53:027 (5) - suggest new combo
19:50 mrdumpling64: yes that's what you are meant to do
19:51 mrdumpling64: when you are finished, click File -> Upload Beatmap
19:51 mrdumpling64: and then it makes a new forum thread from which people can mod your map (which I'm doing here instead), post suggestions and yea
19:52 hersa37: Alright, I'll go do that
19:52 hersa37: thanks
19:52 mrdumpling64: no problem
19:52 mrdumpling64: you might even get a few people who are willing to do a Guest Difficulty for you if you are lucky
19:52 mrdumpling64: I can't do one atm because I'm preparing to go overseas, sorry
19:52 mrdumpling64: but yeah
19:52 hersa37: What things do I need to put in the description
19:53 hersa37: ?
19:53 mrdumpling64: uhm
19:53 mrdumpling64: well you can add whatever you want
19:53 mrdumpling64: like thoughts on this song
19:53 mrdumpling64: who you credit for helping you with making the song (xD)
19:53 hersa37: Will the bpm and offset be put in automatically?
19:53 mrdumpling64: yes
19:53 hersa37: Haha, I'll be sure to put your name in
19:54 mrdumpling64: lol
19:54 mrdumpling64: and of course don't forget others who help you with modding
19:54 mrdumpling64: and if anyone makes a guest difficulty for you, mention them as well
19:54 hersa37: And give them kudous
19:54 mrdumpling64: yes
19:55 mrdumpling64: 01:18:255 (7) - new combo
19:56 mrdumpling64: and yeah
19:56 mrdumpling64: that's it
19:56 hersa37: And I just uploaded it
19:56 hersa37: done
19:57 mrdumpling64: cool
19:57 hersa37: Will it automatically update if anything changes?
19:57 mrdumpling64: just say in description that it is work in progress
19:57 mrdumpling64: uhm it should
19:57 mrdumpling64: wait
19:59 hersa37: here's the link if you want to check it out http://osu.ppy.sh/forum/t/172717
19:59 mrdumpling64: yea so right now you would be clicking the Work in Progress button instead when uploading
19:59 mrdumpling64: cool
19:59 hersa37: btw, is it alright if I advertise it while playing online?
19:59 mrdumpling64: uhm
19:59 mrdumpling64: do you go on the forums much?
20:00 mrdumpling64: you could maybe put it as a signature
20:00 hersa37: Just about to put that in
20:00 mrdumpling64: I have to ask if it's ok though
20:01 mrdumpling64: OK
20:01 mrdumpling64: yes it's fine to advertise it in when you're playing multiplayer
20:01 mrdumpling64: not spam level though
20:01 mrdumpling64: also you might want to put in a mod request as well?
20:01 mrdumpling64: #modreqs
20:03 mrdumpling64: also read [https://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/How_to_Get_Your_Map_Ranked this] as well
20:05 hersa37: Do you have any BATs to recommend?
20:06 mrdumpling64: Andrea is a pretty good BAT, don't call him yet until you've given some kudosu and earnt some star priority
20:06 mrdumpling64: also one more way to get your map modded
20:06 mrdumpling64: other than #modreqs and privately asking someone
20:07 mrdumpling64: is to check out modding queues in the forums
20:07 mrdumpling64: just be sure to read the rules of each original poster
20:08 hersa37: what's "M4M"? mod4mod?
20:09 mrdumpling64: mod4mod means you mod their beatmap and they mod yours
20:10 hersa37: How long does it usually take for a newcommer's map to be ranked?
20:10 mrdumpling64: the time should be the same as far as I am concerned
20:10 mrdumpling64: a few ways to go about your question
20:11 mrdumpling64: if a BAT makes a beatmap it's not like it will get ranked in 1 second
20:11 mrdumpling64: if a newcomer is determined to get their map ranked and follows the appropriate steps then yes it will get ranked pretty soon
20:12 hersa37: Alright then, thank you very much for your help
20:12 mrdumpling64: it's the same with anything else in real life really
20:12 mrdumpling64: no problem
20:13 mrdumpling64: I'll just write that I modded for you in game
20:23 hersa37: What's draining time?
20:24 mrdumpling64: when playing you gradually lose health and have to replenish it by hitting the notes in time
20:24 mrdumpling64: draining time is the amount of time where that health loss takes place
20:25 hersa37: In other words, the time when the map starts
20:25 mrdumpling64: yea
20:26 mrdumpling64: actually I'm not quite sure either
20:26 mrdumpling64: should ask in #modhelp just in case
20:26 mrdumpling64: but that's my best guess
20:27 mrdumpling64: is it alright if I save the log for this chat and paste it in the thread?
20:27 mrdumpling64: in case someone asks how I did the mod
20:31 hersa37: Sure, I don't mind
20:31 mrdumpling64: cool, thanks

Easy
00:49:164 (6,7,8) - Extend them all to end the white lines
00:54:846 (9,10) - Change this in some way; the slider should not be that long
01:30:300 (10,1) - You have to change the spacing on this. They are the same space apart as 01:30:073 (9,10), implying that you can hit them at the same speed when you can't
02:56:664 (1) - This note seems out of place. I understand that you were trying to follow a theme, but it seems confusing here.
03:36:664 (1,2,3,4) - If you are going to stop the song early (I don't know if you're going to map more notes), I suggest you remove these because it ends fine with 03:34:618 (4)

Hard
00:11:664 (1,2,3,4) - I would suggest moving these similar to this:

This is because the notes need to be distance snapped and notes 1 and 2 need to lead to 3

I'm going to guess hard is not finished because it's half the length of easy.

Easy
00:36:209 (4) - New Combo
00:51:209 (7) - New Combo
01:53:027 (8) - New Combo

Hard
00:25:527 (6) - You should curve this slider slightly up instead of down so it points to what you need to click next
