When i play things like streams or anything where i dont use my wrist or fore arm to tap like when i use only the finger it self to tap my left middle finger when i try to tap with its like slow or ubcomfortable/stiff. im right handed so it might be cus my lefty is weaker

I think that's just a preference thing. Just like how I only used my fingers on easier patterns and my arms and forearms for harder ones.
