Hey there!

This is my first skin for osu!mania 4k!

It's heavily inspired by the "Simply Love" Stepmania theme and uses the Noteskin "PETERS_CEL" from Peter Lawrence.
I used the "Stepmania Ultralight V1.43" skin as a starting point, but basically all assets have been replaced/ changed.

The main "features" of this skin I would say would be the animated notes and the ability to pretty easily change the color scheme to your liking just by changing two words for each note column in the skin.ini file (if you have the extra colors installed).

Disclaimer
This skin only works in 16:9. I've realized that making a skin for multiple aspect ratios is a huge hassle, so I won't be adapting the skin for that, sorry!

cool skin, would recommend either shortening the welcome.ogg or removing it though because its way too long and overlaps the music for a bit

Oh yeah I didn't notice that because I don't have supporter at the moment. Gonna just remove the file and update the download real quick. Thanks!

The color for some reason looks less saturated if I look more closely. But at least it now supports my display!

There are more room of improvements but it can be used right away with less configurations.

Hey there, first off, thanks everyone for the kind words about the skin!

The reason I'm posting is that I'm kinda confused why the skin is still in the "Work In Progress" section

I've submitted it on the compendium site and it was approved, but the post still hasn't been moved and the skin hasn't been added to the compendium

The "Added" status on the sheet doesn't actually mean that the skin has been added to the compendium, it's more of an "Approved - Waiting to be added" state. The skins are added in batches, which are handled by RockRoller only. We are working to make this a smoother process, but the next batch should be ready before SOTY 2023 is live.

Aah ok! At first I thought they were somewhat separate things, but it makes a lot of sense that they're directly correlated 🤔

Yeah I guess the wording is where most of my confusion came from, but I could've inferred that it meant this 😅

But damn, I didn't know that it was only handled by RockRoller 😮 Now I kind of feel bad for pressing this, since he was so fast to add the skin to the site after my post!

Again huge thanks for clarifying and to RockRoller specifically for adding the skin and being so quick ^.^
