I don't have an idea which skin are you talking about. Can you share where can we download the skin so we can help you?

Also, is this thread should go to Skinning instead of Help?

To change the transparency of the underlay of the skin, you might want to edit your skin.ini file. Open up the file using any text editor you prefer. Find the string [Mania], and start editing below.

Add this string below [Mania] as many times as you need, according to the Keys value, so it looks like this:

[Mania]
Keys: 4
...
Colour1: r,g,b,a
Colour2: r,g,b,a
Colour3: r,g,b,a
Colour4: r,g,b,a

r, g, b, are consecutively the amount of red, green, blue color, starting from 0 to 255. a is the transparency value, which also starting from 0 (fully transparent) to 255 (fully opaque). Change the value as desired.

This is the example of the finished setup based on your given skin, making the background stage completely transparent for 4K mode:
code
[Mania]
Keys: 4
//Mania skin config
KeysUnderNotes: 1
HitPosition: 480
ScorePosition: 280
ComboPosition: 160
ColumnStart: 280
ColumnLineWidth: 0,0,0,0,0
ColumnWidth: 75,75,75,75
JudgementLine: 1
StageHint: blank-hint
WarningArrow: arrow-scroll
UpsideDown: 0
ColourHold: 255,255,255,255
ColourBarline: 250,175,255,150
LightingNWidth: 62,62,62,62
LightingLWidth: 62,62,62,62
