I've noticed a lot of people use OpenTabletDriver instead of the manufacturer drivers for their tablets. Is there a benefit in doing this?
Thank you ill be sure to give it a go at somepoint, I have noticed I have a goofy ass area aspect ratio since i kind of just free-sized it lmao.yoony1 wrote:
OTD is optimized for osu, while stock drivers are optimized for drawing. OTD gets rid of any smoothing and latency that stock drivers might add. It also makes your tablet more customisable. First it makes it easier to play around with your area, and second it has many plugins, most notably to get rid of input noise(anti-chatter) and to add additional smoothing. There's probably some more reasons that I've missed out on.
