try playing very high 4 star songs on half time, its as if you are playing a bit slowed down 4 star songs down and i think it is the key to getting used to 4 star patterns over time
I'm in a similar boat right now, but this sounds like a really interesting idea that I'll have to try myself.
Obviously I can't give too much advice when im practically the same skill level as you, but I can echo some good points that helped me:
The major one to remember - The star system is a pretty bad judgement of difficulty, and it gets more apparent the closer you play to your skill limit. There are many high 3* songs i
can get 95%+ on, and then quite a lot that I scrape by
with an 88%, despite being rated lower. So just kinda keep playing and some songs will feel better than others.
Play/Set up multiplayer lobbies with host rotation and difficulty limits to help expand your map library. The best way to improve is variety.
If you haven't already, take another look at
Zenith's Accuracy Guide and the video at the bottom to see if there is something you might be missing.
If you're having trouble focusing your eyes due to a lack of consistent focal points, try moving your Judgement meter to the center of the screen (it seems obvious now but I only realized I should do this a few weeks ago).
