Hey there!

This is my very first attempt at creating an own map, so even though I tried my best following the numerous helpful guides provided here, there's probably still a lot to improve. Especially the hitsounds are giving me a hard time.

That being said, please don't hold back any criticism. I'm eager to learn and thankful for any help you an provide! :3

Hello Beginner Support Mod From my queue

Note: Beginner Support Mod will inform you of mapping as well. Since you are a Beginner the mod will get long. Do not be discouraged that it is long. so lets get started. DS= Distant spacing HD = HP drain rate CS= circle size AR= Approach rate OD= Overall Difficulty and SV= Slider velocity

[General]
Personally for Easy I think that Distant Spacing 0.8 works better and looks nicer. Usually in Easy you don't want 1/1 notes to smush together it looks bad.
This Mapset is unrankable. you put sliders under sliders which is unrankable mostly because they are hard to read.

[Easy]


In Easy
HD is to high -1 Beginners are bound to make alot of mistakes at first so you dont want them to die quickly
CS is fine
AR is too high lower to 2 beginners eyes wont be able to keep up with AR 4
OD i think is fine


Major Issues

Major Issues are things that are wrong. And thus i recommend to not ignore but you still can
00:08:353 (5) - I find this too long because you have the middle white tick that hit strong and you end the slider on the next white tick that basically starts new verse and wasted the slider.
00:10:289 (2) - Unrankable it is under the slider
00:23:837 (5) - more then 50% of the slider is covered by another note
00:35:934 (2) - this is too hidden for people. when you play people wont be able to find it at first. and they will hit it too early.
00:36:418 (3) - let 3 blanket 2 its a bit ugly as of now
00:44:644 (2,3) - DS is Inconsistent in Easy DS should be consistent.
00:54:805 (5) - No hidden notes in easy
01:03:273 - kiai time should end here
01:07:628 (1,2,3) - no red ticks in easy. Beginners cant hit that fast yet and No stacking in Easy as well Beginners arent able to tell how fast to hit when they are stacked.
01:10:289 (5) - DS is Inconsistent in Easy DS should be consistent.

01:15:128 (1) - There is no reason for you to go into timing section and multiple the SV not only does that sudden change in speed confuse beginners but it is also incorrect because the song emotion doesnt increase.you cant just multiple the speed of sliders for no reason. when the song like gets more strong like the song sounds like it gets louder faster that is when you increase SV.

00:11:257 (3) - please tell me why this slider is so long try this instead

00:21:902 (3) - i find this slider a bit ugly no gameplay issues just ugly
00:25:773 (3) - why is the slider like that just make it how you usually do curve sliders. it would look so much better

00:39:805 (1) - try to find a different way to make that slider. right now it does not suit with the mood of the song

I cut you some slack because your just a beginner so the mod isnt the full easy mod i would have gave if you werent a beginner

Comments: The flow is fine but not great in certain spot its odd. you hd is too high this ar is way to high. i did not struggle with the song because im a good player but a beginner will have troulbe with the hidden notes i suggest revise this map a little bit. Btw this map is amazing for a beginner most beginners make timing mistakes and tons of not much sense notes but this wasnt that bad for a beginner great job. i will give a star at end of mod. im taking a break for now

I tried to fix/improve basically everything you pointed out and make everything a bit more appealing by fixing weird sliders and blanketing some more.

I'm not quite sure what to do about the kiai time, though. I mean, 00:32:547 - 01:03:273 would be way too long, wouldn't it?

Of course, if you'd like to, you can make an insane diff. Actually, that'd be pretty great!

I think its rather disorientating for an easy to have such a short spinner and it's hard to hit notes right after the spinner, as there's only one beat between the spinner and the next note and it's hard to hit notes so fast in easy. I think you can lengthen the spinner so that people have time to get some bonus and stop in the middle of the spinner to readjust their aim.
00:32:543 - you need louder hitsounds in kiai time
00:41:253 (3,4) - delete the "3" note and extend the slider 4 with 00:41:253 - as start and 00:42:704 - as end. this fits the music better as there's one note between 3 and 4, and a slider would cover that better.

00:59:640 (1,1,1) - firstly, wouldn't recommend spam NC. Second, I would combine these 3 notes into a repeat slider

01:07:382 (1) - I would put this at x328 y312 so that it isn't covered by the previous ugly notes (then of course reshape the curve)

NORMAL

00:41:253 (3) - Make it bend in the center

00:56:737 (3) - ^

this is a ranked map and it used "sadness" instead of insane.
but still it is up to you to change or not. :D

the timing in this is actually a lot more complicated than you have

this is code for just the red points, the green lines and notes will all need to be resnapped manually to prevent any weird things from happening since this is variable bpm
