Alternative osu!mania beatmap editor?

my osu always crash on start up. i've tried to reinstall, still not starting. tried lazer, too buggy, impossible to use. I remember seeing alternative editor on someone's userpage but can't find it again.

If your osu crashes, that should be fixed. I recommend posting the crash details here: https://github.com/ppy/osu-stable-issues/issues

At the very least provide your system specs, osu version, crash error, and how to replicate it. Posting a recording of the crash will also help.
