I always thought the PSP KH looked better off than the DS one, but I guess the PSP one took a backseat for the DS one to come out.

Difficulty curve is pretty volatile though and goes from not-challenging-at-all to die-in-one-hit, usually without warning. Combat System's better than the rest of them, which I guess is the point. The only drawback is that it's on a handheld system and I can't play handhelds for long periods of time.

I'm actually planning on playing the Kingdom Hearts series starting with 1 and 2 and then going into Birth by Sleep since I own a PS2 now. But only after I finish Okami which I'm not sure how long will take given I'm constantly distracted by the presence of iidx, DDR, and school.
Is this a good order to play them, awp?

Chain of Memories takes place between 1 and 2. Unless you want to skip that then go ahead.
Release order is KH1, Chain of Memories, 2, 358/2 Days, Birth By Sleep
Chronology order is Birth By Sleep, KH1, [358/2 Days, Chain of Memories,] KH2.
Note that Chain of Memories actually takes place about 1/5 of the way into 358/2 Days. Technically 358/2 Days starts before CoM but ends after it.
Ideally I think it should be played in release order, but if you're actually interested in the whole 'universe' you'll end up replaying the older games anyway because there's some stuff in the older games that you'll probably miss until you play the later ones.
@Pokebis if you meant those other games I have never played Okami or IIDX, and DDR isn't much of a "play from start to finish" kind of game. If you meant skip CoM and 358/2 Days, you can get away with skipping 358/2 Days and still understand everything that's going on, but the first few hours of KH2 probably won't make any sense if you don't play Chain of Memories.

Birth by Sleep is actually pretty good, I don't hate it at all except Ventus is a bitch (characterwise, not gameplay wise jesus so good).

PSP's powerful enough to handle something like this but yes, it's uncomfortable. If it could connect to the PS3 so you could play it on a bigger screen that'd be much more comfortableGabi wrote:

Finally got around to finishing this the other day. This game pretty much renewed my faith in Kingdom Hearts as a whole. Aqua needs an entire game all to herself, though.
