3 Type 21 Air RADAR

I wouldn't recommend crafting radars unless you're a sufficiently high level.

Summary of what I've heard about the event from various places
will probably do something like Med for first two and then Easy for the rest
and then for something completely different, hibiki cosplay collection made my heart give out

- 6 maps, shiplocking confirmed on Medium and Hard, no shiplocking on Easy
- E-1 & E-2 no shiplocking on any difficulties
- E-3 to E-5 all shiplocked individually
- E-6 no shiplocking, can use all ships
- E-2 & E-4 are combined fleet
- Cannot jump from Easy to Hard on the next map (ex. if you clear E-1 on Easy, you can't set E-2 at Hard) all other difficulties are open for any combination
- Rewards are a new CV (possibly for E-2) and Italian BB sisters among others?

E-1 : very easy map, can clear without much problem with 3CL 3DD or 2CL 4DD (any more CL sends you off course)
Take south route (YOU HAVE A CHOICE WTF), has a very easy sub node and a very easy battle after it, compared to north node with elite/flagship torpedo cruisers
E-2 : not too bad, Carrier Task force so that you can get enough air superiority, ran 3 CV, 1 CAV 2 BB in main fleet and 3 DD 2 CLT 1 CL in escort. Shoot for 200+ AS
Combined fleet type decides route, this one sends you along the lower route and then select up when you're given the choice (first two nodes are non battle).
Fleet command facility got me through a couple rough spots but otherwise smooth clear here as well
Only down about 30-40 buckets from these two, hoping the rest of the event is just as smooth (ha ha)

dayum grats. what comps did you run for 5 and 6?
E5: 2BB 2CAV 1SS 1CV, a submarine is used to be a tank in the night battle point to take damage, 応急修理要員 is needed though, I only spend 2 from beginning to end. kirakira is more necessary, it will increase the miss rate a bit.
E6: 2BB 4CV/1CL 2DD 1BB(Bismarck) 2CLT, if you don't have a Bismarck, any CA can replace.

Just Finished E-2 Hard and.. am i the only who finished it with a Carrier Task Force C>F>E>G>K? there's like 3 BBs on D and the route i just said only has 3 battles(well, part of why i can't do top route is my CAV sucks and i can't find a good alt for the surface fleet)
i might need to take a few days off as to think of which ship goes on which Map.(stupid shiplocking and stupid underleveled/imbalanced fleet ;w;)

E6 post-clear does not use last-kill formation so farming Roma after clearing the event is very much possible

E3 you can choose 2BB2CVL2CLT, I don't use this but I've seen many people said it can still go a A-C-D-E-J routine as the same of 1BB4CA1CVL, maybe use some ca to take the place of bb or clt if you don't have enough bb or clt for the following mapcaptin1 wrote:

if you don't have many experienced CA, then don't use in the 2nd fleet of E4, since this map is pretty pretty easy
E5 mogami & mikuma, or kumano & suzuya can take A(or B)-D-G-H-I-N routine (said by wiki), which has only 2 battle before the boss, I suggest to take one of the two CAV groups if possible, but if they are in the low level, just take your best ca/cav

I knew about the CA requirements for the routing at E5, however I don't have any of those ships leveled at all so there's not much point in trying for it, would rather brave it out with a heavier fleet. CA is the area that I'm weakest in and I'd like to get the event clear out of the way so I can farm what I want to after finals are over.
