Is my tablet worn out?

So, I noticed that my osu tablet is starting to wear out. When I have been playing, I find that it, sometimes, hard to move my pen on the tablet surface. I also notice that my tablet is very scratched where I put my pen (where my tablet area is, duh lol).

So my question is, is it possible that my tablet is worn out? If so, is my best bet to simply buy a new tablet? If so, any recommendations?

the "scratch" is normal and more visible in black tablets, you dont need to worry about that.

wym hard to move the pen? does it get stuck? or it just feels bad to play?

overall you're fine, tablets like any other thing, worn out. It'll eventually happen, but I dont think its your case right now.

I guess spending a little more money at the beginning is okay.

Hi! Sorry for the late reply. What I ended up doing is buying a new tablet. And yes, It was getting stuck occasionally. There was crevices on the tablet itself. Got a Wacom CTL4100, and with it, a tablet cover, which was recommended to me by my friend!
