Make sure you haven't fucked up the countdown settings. Maybe check where you put the first object as well?

Could you link the set you're talking about so that we can properly pinpoint which exactly made them inconsistent throughout set.

Same timing, but different countdowns...(Also might take a while for me record, becuz I have barely recorded stuff...)

(Although it doesn't have any audio I would assume, you shoud be able to recognize something different if you look closely...)

Or you know what imma send this beatmap I've been working to post it online someday:

Oh well I changed my beatmap now so that there'll be no countdowns on all these diffs and I made a section of right before countdown starts anyways...

please use a hosting service that
1. doesn't make me download the video to watch it and
2. lets me download the entire map in one go without a premium membership

Here's the unironically magical fix: put your first green line somewhere after the first circle. Yeah, really.

I tested a bunch of things in both your map and other maps and came to the incredible conclusion that the speed of the countdown scales with not just the BPM of the first red line, but also the SV of the first green line. However, this only happens if the offset of that green line is lesser or equal to the offset of the first object. Also, there's some kind of semi-"dead zone" for the scaling: 1x and 2x both result in a correct countdown, while 0.75x and 1.5x both result in the same incorrect one.

All of the maps with countdowns that I could find with a quick search get around this by having some objects before the first green line and/or by having 1x SV on the line, so that's what you need to do as well.

So basically the speed is dictated not only from the BPM of the first red line but also the SV of the first object? Interesting.
