OSU is having trouble connecting to bancho - it only started happening today. OSU keeps on disconnecting from bancho. Other apps that requires internet seems to be working fine.

When I typed "tracert cho.ppy.sh" in cmd it showed a timeout, I don't think that is meant to happen.
I also tried logging out and logging back in as well
(blurred out is ip and stuff)

Is this specifically for an IRC client? or are you doing this for the osu! client?

I guess as this was posted over a couple of hours ago, I'd like to ask if you are still experiencing this problem? If you are it might be beneficial to open up the client again, see if the issue persists and if it does to find the network.log found the Logs\ directory of the osu! folder. Then when you find that, go ahead and copy + paste the contents of the log into the thread here.

It is for normal osu (so I assume osu! client)

Yes, I am still expecting this problem, I don't see anything that says network.log

You need to be on Cutting Edge for a network.log file to be present. You can switch to that version of the game by searching for "Release stream" in osu!'s settings. When you switch, an update will be downloaded and you'll be prompted to restart.

If the update fails, please post the "update.log" file instead (it's not in the picture you provided either, but it will have been generated at that point).

I am going to hope my ip is not on that network.log file.

The link below shows my network.log file

Not sure if you are still having this issue as it is one that sometimes gets resolved over time, but in general:

Your IP was probably blocked for some reason.

Depending on your ISP, your IP address might change if you turn your router off for a few hours and then turn it on again. If you get a new IP after doing this, you should be able to connect again.

If that doesn't make your IP change, please contact your ISP and they will likely help you change it.

I think the issue fixed by itself without doing anything. For now
