Taiko Simulators???

I've been playing osu!taiko and TaikoWeb and I've been wondering...
What is a good Taiko Simulator preferably similar to the authentic version of the game~ Taiko no Tatsujin 太鼓の達人,

I looked at a few Simulators and I got no idea which one to download~~~
please help^^

=btw I don't mind how long the process of getting the simulator is=

2 main ones that are closest to the arcade taiko are Taikojiro and TJAplayer
For more customization options in osu taiko Osu!Lazer has that.

This is a whole guide for taiko simulation the recommended nowadays is OpenTaiko cause TaikoJiro and TJAPlayer are abandoned

RIP* they aren't abandoned, just not as popular as they used to be.
also TaikoNijiiroDondaEx (4.1) is amazing, it's my main simulator!

They're both very usable in their current state but they aren't maintained anymore and do not receive new features. Deprecated is more appropriate for TJAPlayer but TaikoJiro is def abandoned

taiko-san jiro turned into taiko-san daijiro 2 and 3 over time.

also taiko-san jiro isn't the 1st taiko sim, that award goes to taiko-san taro!

I see, I didn't know that there was ~daijiro on the computer I only knew of the mobile versions under the same name. Do you know where I can find information about taiko-san taro? I thought the first sim was owatsujiin.

Taiko-san taro is the 1st sim to be made as a pc program, and it evolved into Taiko-san jiro which pioneered all of the taiko sim we play today.

Owatsujiin is the 1st but it's a web game made in flash and we all know what happened to flash :(
