Welcome to Lunar Triple Axel,a 3v3 tournament where the pools are based on 3 different skillsets(aim/speed/technical) instead of the usual modpools

EVERY PLAYER ON THE SAME TEAM MUST BE FROM THE SAME REGION(eu/america/asia)
America includes every north and south america country.
europe includes every european country(includes kazakhstan,kirghizistan etc) and Africa/
Asia includes every asia and oceania country
instead of regular pools,pools are split in 3 different categories:aim/speed/tech
if you are the captain,use the registration form, and join the discord server

The Lunar Triple Axel (LTA) is an international rank 1-80K BWS 3v3 teams of 4-6 osu! standard tournament.
Every Single player in the same team MUST BE FROM THE SAME REGION(everyone has a country eu/america/asia country flag)
Matches are played with Score V2 and NoFail enforced.
All scheduling will be done in UTC.
Reschedules before Friday 23:59 UTC are not guaranteed.
Every match will be referee'd.
If the captain doesn't join the discord server before the end of registrations,their registration becomes invalid.
If you are a free agent looking for a team,join the discord server and post in the #looking-for-team channel.
Staff, exept for gfx/streamers/commentators are not allowed to play.

edit:registrations phase have been extended by a week and the tournament will start at RO16.

Pool will feature 4-5 aim/4-5 speed/4-5 technical with 1-2 bans. mods will depend on the pick
matches will be best of 9/11

General

No cheating/multiaccounting will be allowed. We reserve the right to deny registrations from suspicious accounts.
Dont waste staff/other players time by trolling,not playing despite being here etc.
Don't be [b]toxic or disrespectful to anyone regardless of "who started it".
Please,DONT MAKE SCHEDULING UNNECESSARILY HARD FOR OTHERS TEAMS! Scheduling conflicts will be handled on a case by base basis but the host has the last word while trying to remain as neutral as possible.
You have 10 minutes to have a 3 players roster online after the agreed time or else you will forfeit the match.
The referee will be the host of the match lobby and will select the requested maps and the mod/s.
No unsportsmanlike conduct such as stalling,intentionally throwing etc.
You have 90 seconds to pick or ban.
Breaking those rules may result in a warning, a point loss or a disqualification.
Where rules do not prevail, common sense shall. Staff has explicit discretion to apply their judgement on issues as they see fit.

Qualifiers
The mappool will consist of 9 maps: 3 aim(2 nm/1 dt), 3 speed(1 nm/2 dt), 3 technical(1nm/1hd/1hr)
Captains will choose a lobby hosted by a referee at a specific hour. They may ask to play at another hour if none of the lobbies fit their schedule.
Following qualifiers, the top 16/32 teams will move onto a double elimination bracket stage based on power seeding(#1 vs #32, #2 vs #31 and so on)
Qualifiers rankings will be based on normalized total points (a SS on HD/HR/DT is worth 1 million points,like NM)

Brackets Stage
A referee will create a lobby 10-15 minutes before the scheduled match time and invite the captains.
The captains are expected to invite their teammates.
If a team comes unprepared/doesnt take the match seriously,the referee may use their judgement to deal with this situation.
If a player doesnt show up nor says anything 10 minutes after the scheduled time,they forfeit the match.
There are no warmups.
You are NOT allowed to ask to replay a match later once you started no matter your reasons.
There is no picks/bans restrictions
Teams have 90 seconds to pick/ban maps or else the referee will roll a random number as well as giving a warning.
Once a map is picked, teams will have 60 seconds to have a 3 players roster ready. Once the timer is finished, the referee will force start the map(!mp start 10).
They are 3 Tiebreakers: 1 aim,(Freemod),1speed(DT+Freemod),1 technical(Freemod). Should a match go to tiebreaker,the captains will dm the ref which tb they ban,if they ban the same map the referee will roll between the 2 remaining maps.
Aim/TechnicalTiebreakers are played with FreeMod enabled(HD/HR/HDHR only), however, it do not require players to use a mod. (NF is still enforced.)
Speed tiebreakers are played with DT+Freemod(DT/HDDT only). HD is optional for this tiebreaker, but NF and DT are enforced.
In case of genuine disconnection/crash in the 1st quarter of a map, it may be replayed ONCE. If it happens again, the disconnected player score is void.(unless both teams agree to replay the pick). Furthermore, you may use a screenshot to count someone missing score IF the referee agrees
The winner of the roll(!roll) picks 1st BUT bans 2nd(Player A won the roll,the ban order is BABA and A picks a map)
Should a perfect tie happen,the map will be replayed.
