[Archived] (Solved) osu skins dont work

when i try to open the osk file of a skin, it opens the osu!installer rather than the osu! game. also i cannot change what opens with the file nor change it to osu https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1Z1y2rau94

(also just for context i already downloaded the normal osu before installing a skin)

osu! version: Stable 20220424 (latest)

1. Your youtube video is privated so we cannot view it.

2. Have you tried dragging the .osk file directly into the osu! client/window? Iirc, this should automatically set the setting to open these types of files in this window in the future as well, though might be incorrect about that.

it has been 14 months and i forgot to respond yes it works idk why im here literally 14 months later but still thanks
