(solved) osu!mania white stripes and wrong combo settings

edit: fading/wrong color combo was fixed by putting ColourHold: 255,255,255,255 under Keys:
and the white stripes that appeared were supposedly recepstors. still dont know how to disable them, but i made a custom mania-stage-bottom which was black and covered them

ColourHold: 255,255,255,255

What is this small white lines you're referring to?
Can you provide a screenshot? Thanks.

setting ColourHold: 255,255,255,255 fixed it thanks and putting it under Keys config and not Colours.

Have you save and reload your skin?

Tip: Press "Shift", "Ctrl", "Alt" and "S" keys altogether.

Check your "mania-key1D" and "mania-keySD".

Do you see a white line below?
If so, edit those out by erasing it, not cropping it.

i redid the mania keys config and made sure the images are blank. then i removed the key images and the white stripes are still there above the default osu!mania skin keys. maybe theyre part of another command i have to add?

Does it happen when you hit a note or long notes?
If so, check these images: "lightingN", "lightingL".

Note: If you delete the images, it will replace with the default skin. So, it's better to replace them with 1x1 pixel.

it happends when i press down any of the keys regardless if a note is there or not

how to check the mania key?

You mean mania key as in how to check all of the mania assets of the skin?
If so, in your osu! client, go to settings and look for Open current skin folder. Now this only works in osu!stable.

Regardless, I believe this is a different question from OP. Do advise creating a new thread next time. Thanks.
