I can't upload a beatmap.

At first, it said "file size too big", so I went to a file compressor for the background, which was already 110 KB, and it didn't work. What went wrong? Also, if you want to know the song in question, it's Camellia's GHOST (2020 Halloween+++++++++ VIP) that I downloaded from his Bandcamp.

Try placing a note at the end of the song so osu! can gauge the length of the song, otherwise it has a hard time determining the length and therefore the size.
