Easy and Normal offbeat rhythms

My song has a lot of 3/4 spacing in the rhythm and the ranking criteria says to not use 1/4 rhythms for easy and normal difficulties. Removing easy and normal difficulties isn't an option either because the drain time for the map is about ~2 minutes.

I have three ideas what to do here:
a. map percussion on 1/2 but it sounds weird with the main rhythm
b. just map the 3/4 rhythm because technically the spacing is at least 1/2
c. s l i d e r

3/4 example:

Ranking Criteria: wiki/en/Ranking_Criteria/osu%21#normal

I get that 1/4 is hard for new players, but it sounds very off when using only 1/2 rhythm.

To clarify: the whole song is like this, it isn't just a few sections with a 3/4 rhythm

I assume you're talking about this set. Note that the BPM of your song is 128, and if you read the top part of the page you linked you should notice how there's a section about BPM.

Ranking Criteria wrote:

Overall rules and guidelines apply to every kind of osu! difficulty. Rhythm-related rules and guidelines apply to approximately 180 BPM beatmaps with 4/4 time signatures. If your song is drastically faster or slower, some variables might be different, as detailed in Scaling BPM on the ranking criteria.
Since your song is in the ~130bpm range, it's perfectly normal for it to have a lot of 3/4 rhythms. Since the BPM is much lower than 180, it's also easier for players to play those 3/4 rhythms.

In other words, when dealing with BPM that differs significantly from 180, you should adjust the Ranking Criteria values as appropriate, as per Scaling BPM on the ranking criteria.

thanks for the info, I decided to use a slider approach anyway because it better suits the difficulty but this will be good to keep in mind for future maps
