My cursor goes like that in full screen, Are you using full screen?
Not for me, and not for many other players. People have different styles.Lucidity wrote:
The easiest way is to spin is in a small circle in the middle. You can even go slowly, making sure the cursor goes around the center, and still achieve a relatively good speed. Try that if you're not doing it already D:
Its called the search function.Lucidity wrote:
Not gonna lie. You're super cool for having been here longer than Teh JeY!
Yes it's someone having trouble with spinning. No it doesn't relate to spinning technique. There are 3 replies and they're all about buying a new mouse. Not relevant.lukewarmholiday wrote:

This is not a thread about someone who has trouble spinning. It is a thread with people saying how they spin? The thread is also from 2008. Not relevant.lukewarmholiday wrote:

Congrats! Your first find that is about someone asking for technique help. Too bad it's on a tablet and not a mouse. Not relevant.lukewarmholiday wrote:

Thread is older than a year. Spinning algorithm has changed since then. (Was before my time so I don't know if it affects anything). Point is it's not from this year. If he had revived it you would have bitched about necro'ing. So old and Not relevant.lukewarmholiday wrote:

Again this is from April 2008. Same as above. Old and Not relevant.lukewarmholiday wrote:

Take note of two things here:Lucidity wrote:
Tbh, searching "spin" suggests that this is only the second topic of it's kind this year and the previous one wasn't actually related to the OPs question!

just let this thread keep alive, will help other people who cant spin read up here anyway
I just used the "Not relevant" phrase so that it would be consistent throughout. And you managed to make yourself look like a fucktard.
his thread is the third of its kind in 16 months. I would not think that it warrants a "OMG NOT THIS THREAD AGAIN" pic.Well you aren't the one who posted the pic because he feels that way.
But I can see that you will refuse to give in on that point. Simply because you do not like to be wrong. You don't feel this threads topic has been already discussed to the point where it's annoying to hear it again. I do. We are going to be at odds, don't just say BUT YOU'RE WRONG YOU JUST WONT ACCEPT IT. That makes me think you're a self righteous prick.
I am a low-sensitivity user and spin large with my arm.Gabi wrote:
high sensitivity = Spin large circles
Low sensitivity = Spin small circles
you shouldn't need to use your arm to much, or any at all.
ofcourse using high sensitivity you can spin small circles aswell to get a better recovery after the spinner.
Look ,Lucidity is right on this one. But dude, stop contradicting something that doesnt need to be. We're trying to help wats-his-face with spinning issues, not prove a relevant- non relevant post that doesnt apply to wats-his-face's problem.Lucidity wrote:

As for your rant on dexterity, you're right to a degree. Of course he'll only get better by playing, but that does not mean asking for help in a thread is retarded. Asking someone to point you in the right direction is a perfectly reasonable thing to do. Think about bowling and batting in cricket. Sure it's just "throwing or hitting a ball", but every kid has a coach that teaches them how to do it initially. They are taught different techniques and their mistakes are pointed out to them. Why should that not apply to this? There are no coaches in osu, so the only place one can ask for assistance is in a thread.
i bet your arm dies after a very long spinner xDstrager wrote:

That is why a smaller more controlled spin is desired. It doesn't come natural to everyone (Didn't to me) but it really helps if you can get it to a decent speed ;oSlaughterMelon wrote:
EDIT: Something I forgot to add. Sometimes I have to stop the spin before getting a full bonus because I'm not prepared for the notes that come immediately after (if there are any).
Nope.Teh JeY wrote:
The problem is, people are jerk-offs and make beats seemingly right after completing a spin, and I can never hit those, and probably two of the beats thereafter.
Reading through this though, it seems I just need to make smaller, controlled circles? So far, my solution has just been to stop spinning shortly before it ends, recover and get to the note, not bothering about bonuses.
So, smaller controlled circles? Hmm >__>
