Speed or control pad for osu!

What type of mousepad do high ranked mouse players often use?
I'm getting an Aqua Control 2 mousepad which is considered as a fast pad for an FPS game.
I wonder if it will affect my gameplay in osu.
I rarely play osu since it's not my main game which is why I won't get a tablet.

dont really know since im pretty sure mousepads dont affect skill much, I just use a cheap mousepad and it works nicely.

im sure its just a matter of preference tho, some people are better at speed pads and some are better at control pads, just my speculations.

See it's depends on you not what pros use
Comfortability is what you should focus on

I am not a mouse player in osi tho in fps games you will see speed mousepads more since most players uses low sens

In osu, low sens can be a problem because of mouse drift.
I think you should try both.
I suggest a speed type
