Howdy! Finally, I left behind my laziness and I decided to post my 1st seriouus attempt (A-hem...) of a beatmap!
It's the ending theme of the arcade games Puzzle Bobble 2 / 2x.
Changelog left for the sake of it.

Ebbene si: mi hai sgamato per bene! (non ti si può nascondere nulla...)
L'ultima volta che ho usato il beat snap divisor ho reso la mappa un mezzo pastrocchio, ma se non sbaglio mai, quando imparerò? ^.^

Thanks, this one was refreshingly straightforward. That timing section gets you to 2 minutes into the song, there basically is no beat after that.

I can't check timing carefully because i'm not expert in that, but some beats feel not snapped qhen looking at them in the editor (maybe it's just me, though)

Il timing it's horrible u_u

Andiamo alla questione dimezzamento. I pro sono che dimezzi la velocità degli slider, il DS e i contro sono che dimezzi anche il Beat Snap Divisor D:
Dopo aver raddoppiato il BPM imposta la slider velocity a 0,70 e lo slider tick rate a 1. Sempre su timing vai su Timing Setup Panel e seleziona uno per uno tutti i timing points a destra della schermata (a parte il primo timing point) e premi su "Inherit previous timing settings"
Seleziona l'offset: 24017

esci dalla schermata e fai il resnap di tutte le note (menù Timing in alto> Resnap all notes)
Vai su Song Setup e vai nella mascherina Difficulty. Dimezza l'overall ATTUALE.
Infine controlla tutta la mappa: ci dovrebbero essere alcuni elementi che andrebbero aggiustati (ti aspetta davvero un lavoraccio da fare D:)

Di sotto ti metto in allegato una diff dove ho dimezzato tutto. Se vuoi puoi partire da lì a controllare gli hitobjects :3 poi rinominala XD

I BPM non devi dimezzarli. Vanno bene così come sono di base per la canzone.
Non ha senso dimezzarli perchè le note cadono velocemente e gli slider corrono troppo.

Ricorda bene:

- Se le note cadono velocemente, diminuisci l'Overall Difficulty (Song Setup > Difficulty).
- Se vuoi rallentare un po gli slider, diminuisci la Slider Velocity (Dal Timing). Non rallenta di molto , ma alla fine non serve, per una hard 1,40 è già poco!

Altri piccoli suggerimenti:
Cancella TUTTE le altre sezioni. E ricordati che se vuoi fare delle timing section dove cambiare gli Hitsound, o aggiungere il Kiai, o qualunque altra cosa che non riguardi direttamente il timing, usa le sezioni verdi! Quelle rosse servono solamente per fare cambi drastici di BPM nel corso della canzone, ovvero, che siano cambi di BPM diversi dalla metà e dal doppio di quello iniziale. (Ricorda: Timing > Timing Panel Setup > Add > Barra la casellina Inherit previous timing settings, dopo di chè puoi modificare tutto ciò che ti serve).

Diminuisci un po' il volume dei Sample Sound, soprattutto nelle sezioni con gli Hitsound Normal. Non esagerare, basta anche solo una tacca in meno.

Penso sia tutto! Purtroppo ti lascio un bel lavoraccio da fare, ovverosia sistemare tutte le note al loro posto e modificare gli slider. (Prima le note erano piazzate in maniera assurda, per farle andare a tempo erano messe a caso XD).

This is mostly suggestion though. =P

Timing is VERY OFF in my opinion. Please use awp's offset- 3042. BPM 160 is fine. And use 1/4. After doing all that, your notes should be placed mostly on white and red tick, and they sound alright on those places, so, I think you won't need 1/8.

Feel free to PM me to mod again if you decided to change your offset and beat snap divisor. Even if you doesn't, I will still mod it and star it later, =P.

kk, Just a quicky, I found the map to be quite amusing , , , , only problem was that in Hard and Normal, u didn't resnap any of the notes, resnap them all, make sure u resnap to a 1/6 divisor

I noticed that you didnt use distance snap on all the diffs. I changed [Normal] to the way it should be. I hope this is what you're looking for, and remember, distance snap must be used ,, well ,, i think 90~95% of the song.

Things I noticed and think can be improved:

Insane:

The intro is quite long and there is alot that can be done with it.

00:31:417 (7,8,9,10,11) The end of 7(slider) and 8(circle) is spaced to far apart.
I suggest moving 8/9/10/11 over to the left slightly.

01:05:917 (3,1) This spacing looks slightly off to me as well. I think these sliders could be cleaned up a bit through this section.

I think that the map could be cleaned up a bit to look a little better without actually changing anything, but this is just my personal opinion. This difficulty flows well and feels right except for a couple of personal spacing opinion.


I love the slider at the end, it fits perfectly with the music!

I didnt hear any issues with the timing/placement of the cirles. For the insane difficulty, i suggest you avoid such a long lead in. You could easily place some circles here n there which make your map alot more interesting. Don't forget people tend to skip the lead in, so you're basically screwing away that nice intro. Also that spinner in the end... kinda surprizing, you know? Try to storyboard something like upcoming text: 'This isnt over yet!' or something more creative <_< for the harder difficulty you could fill up some of that break space in the end.
Other then that, this is the type of BM i'd play after a hard day of work xD the speed of the sliders just match perfectly with the song.

[Overall]
- IMO this map should use 1/4 timing divisor, not 1/6. I'll point out all uses of 1/6, anyway, so do not resnap - just go and fix them.
- Lead-ins are kinda long.
- Break and spinner at the end are stupid, IMO.

[Vs. Monsta (Normal)]
Spacing is all messed up. Scan whole map with distance snap turned on and fix every note. Including jumps which you wanted to place - it's your easiest difficulty, so jumps are bad. If grid prevents you from placing notes like they should be, turn it off/switch to level 3 (View -> Grid level).

You can also try Ctrl+Shift+A and clicking "Run", but it wont point out all mistakes, I think.

Non-spacing modding:
00:24:04 (1,2,3,4,5) - uh, this one is all wrong. Place it on timeline like that: , then fix spacing.
00:53:66 (2,3,4) - fix length to make them all 3/4 long. Right now it's 4/6.
00:59:57 (2), 01:01:10 (2), 01:02:60 (2), 01:03:72 (4,5) - place on next white tick.
01:07:04 (2) - place on next blue tick (01:07:073), make it 1/4 long, and add one repeat.
01:21:04 (1) - make it longer (until the whte tick).
01:22:54 (2) - end at blue tick.
01:27:04 (1), 01:28:54 (1) - end at red tick.
01:33:60 (2,3,5,6) - place at red/white ticks.
01:39:04 (1), 01:45:04 (1), 01:49:54 (6), 01:54:04 (1) - end at white tick.
01:51:66 (3), 01:53:16 (7) - place at red tick.
01:55:72 (1) - place spinner at next red tick. Also align its end with red tick.

[Vs. Dreg (Hard)]
- 00:24:04 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3) - fix it in similar way as Normal.
- Like Normal - change divisor to 1/4, scan the song and make all beats be on white/red or, rarely, blue ticks. I'm not mentioning them all because I'll have to write this post until tomorrow, and finding and fixing them will be easy job.
- Also - spacing.

[Vs Mecha Warrior Bubblen (Insane)]
- As I already said, diff name lacks "." after "Vs".
- And as above - fix 1/6 to 1/4, fix spacing (unless it's meant as jump).
- This diff is kinda stream heavy, eh.


Except divisor problems and spcing, it looks like a nice map. Starred - keep doing great job!

Even though jumps are cool, there should be a standard spacing for maps. At points the spacing was big, and at other parts it was so close that I thought that notes were streams but there was a 1-2 beat space until it x_x

  1. Please lower the hitvolume, especially for places where the Normal sampleset is used.

  1. You need to resnap all notes!
  2. Offset is not the same as the other difficulties. Each time someone suggests a new offset, you need to apply it to all difficulties. Also, please keep awp's offset, osuplayer's is a little early.
  3. There still are some spacing "problems", I see. I don't think changing the spacing or adding jumps in a Normal is good. An example would be 00:36:004 (1,2,3,4), and I don't think it can be ranked with these. Did you use distance snap?

  1. I don't think such a low Overall Difficulty fits a Hard difficulty.
