sursum means to go upwards. Having no means to start the climb as a mapper can make the top seem daunting to reach. It can also feel like it's impossible to start anywhere with no direction and no resources.joining s u r s u m
sursum's goal is to provide a learning and developing space for mappers who are just starting out those who have the will to start, but no direction to follow. It is a mentorship: however, it's a bit more than that. It's a community that's based around surrounding people with other mappers, as a way to gain perspectives, develop, and make a couple new friends to stick around with.
We want to help you achieve such things as structure, creativity, fundamentals, and much more to help you achieve your goals. The end point of sursum isn't to act in the best interests of one specific ideal of mapping, but rather to assist mappers in creating maps that they themselves want to craft.
In order to apply for a role, you must have an open form of contact and must be in the server. We are currently open to new mentees and mentors for osu!standard. You can find the application forms below.Join the server!
