Let me put a simple example here.
When I enter the game, Osu! automatically choose taiko mode for me.
In this situation I am only in taiko search filter and no one can see me in osu! standard or osu! mania filter.
However, if I play an osu!mania diff, my mode would switch to osu!mania, making no one see me in taiko (profile in taiko lost).
So what this request promote is to be able to record every players' per-mode rank and showing every player / showing their correct position in-game.
It would be nice to see filter just become a sorter, not a hider for players.
