What happens if I add a beatmap that I've already downloaded in the game? I mean duplicated maps. Will the game delete it automatically, or leave a copy? I am trying to download a 90GB mania pack and currently I have 4000+ beatmaps in the game, so I am expecting a lot of duplicated maps. I'm just curious whether I'll have to go to the songs folder and delete all the duplicated maps manually (Since it's a waste of space not deleting all those duplicates)

I think they do override them, so you should be fine. The exception is when they are different versions (i.e. a map that has been updated since the last time you downloaded it, or graveyard/wip maps that have since been loved or ranked).
it depends on how you dl the files also, if they're a .osz and you let osu extract it then it'll update old maps but if you just drag folders in yourself it'll make duplicates or be weird at times
