When I complete a beatmap I sometimes accidentally esc out of it, and since setting the offset based on your last play is only possible when restarting, i need to play the whole thing again and not accidentally press esc out of habit, what I suggest is that you should be able to get the calculated offset from a replay, or maybe just your latest submitted replay, instead of your latest successful retry in the current play session
