aaaaa what did I do =(

This is a consistent crash whether it be F8 or F9.

irc always crashes if I press F8/F9 when I open irc for the first time in the editor or whilst I'm playing. Seems fine if I do it in the play/edit selection screens or at the startup screen though.

Happens to me at the title screen. I just can't work with irc on in edit mode ={

I can't work on anything with irc open as a general rule

Four days till King Peppy returns! After which, IRC will be fixed. Spectating will, too, of course.

I might screw up again before peppy returns ( in 3 days)

But...

- IRC fixed.
- Spectating fixed.

It's crashing because you're not paying attention in class.

Very funny but no.

That was not the cause of this error.

Osu drains the battery of the laptop in less than an hour!

This map has been deleted on the request of its creator. It is no longer available.

I just got this error just now...

Is it a persistent crash, or a one-time thing? And where specifically is it happening?

Keeping peppy updated with game crashes is great and all, but providing information along with a notification is even better.
James
It happened only once, and it also happened while pressing F8 in game, while editing.
It doesn't happen anymore so its all good, I think.

It may have been an environment problem rather than an osu! problem if that were the case. It's happened to me before, but if you can easily replicate it, it's probably osu!'s fault. Otherwise, maybe not.

It happened just now, three times consecutively, at edit mode, main page and play mode.

I wonder if this has something to do with "cant connect to irc"

EDIT: After restarting the PC, hoping that will fix it, but not.
And I cant still connect to IRC while having this error.

Just happened to me 10 times in a row when I pressed F8 at the title screen. Then again at the edit menu, edit screen, and even during play. What the heck?

I've added some extra code which should hopefully fix this in the next version. It basically means your connection to the irc server failed, though.
