Evolution Cup is a seasonal tournament piloting this spring. The plan is, for every iteration, to use a different gimmick. We're going to start off with a standard-style tournament just to guarantee we can stand on two legs, but the next iteration will be completely different!
The tournament is open to those who are 50k-99,999, and we are also invoking a very strict BWS as seen below:
If you are not sure if you have a badge, you probably do not. We will not be counting spotlight or non-standard player badges, but every other badge will count towards BWS, bench or not.
We will also be implementing a system where if a player has placed first in a tournament within the last three months ("December 25th, 2021 - April 15th, 2022") will be unable to participate in the tournament. However, if a player (Finals onwards) has a match cost of 1.2 or lower, the player will be marked as benched and will not be considered to have won the tournament. (Binfy's 5-digit, 6WC or Battle of the Box)

Players are required to be in the discord to take part. They must sign up using the team application form or the free agent form provided both on this forum post, and in the discord server.

We are implementing a mappool change request feature (which is implemented Ro64 onwards). If a majority fraction of captains (20%+) believe that a (or some) maps aren't fit for the pool, they can request a change vote <48h after the mappool has been released. If that vote gets 70%+ agreement, we will change the requested map. We understand players sometimes disagree with mappools, but we believe that if there is a large agreement that a map is unfit for its pool, we will gladly change it. Please note that a specific map category (e.g. HD2) can only be changed once per mappool.
