Well, here's just an idea, completely unofficial, but:
How about we make some a cup where the prize is to be part of the Team representing?
Pros:
Gives everyone a chance to play.
Might find some players that are really good although not ranked high, aka underrated.
Cons:
Good players may experience off days.
Even if we started now, we might not make it before registrations of the OWC.
Personally I would join this cup, for the sportsmanship of coming with the idea, and maybe surprising myself. Just need someone to arrange this.
