I need help with figuring out the timing to a map

I have been beating myself over this for awhile and I cannot for the life of me figure out why the timing of the map gradually becomes off when further into the map.
The song in question is this one: beatmapsets/1705103#osu/3484213

I haven't done much with it because it seems that the song itself has a resetting metronome and I can't figure out where it's coming from. Anyone out there that can help me here?

Listening to the song and try timing it a bit, I'd say the the timing is a tad more complicated than just a red line change somewhere.

I'd say that the timing will fluctuate a bit throughout the map, ranging from 170 to 180.

I'm not the expert in terms of multi-BPM timing tho, so I'll let anybody else more experienced to do this instead and to give more accurate answer.

its an old song, so human error means that its not going to perfectly fit a metronome, you'll have to go in and check almost every sound, lining up ones that aren't on beat with new red lines if you are dead set on mapping this song.

I don't think you have to check literally every sound, you just have to look for drum sounds. The only exception to this is when you need to check bpm for complex rhythms, as it can be confusing.

Anyways I tried my best to find the timings here:

Thank you so much for the timings. I will check them out myself when I have the time. I knew that since it is an old song there may be a lot of errors in terms of timing, however I wanted to make sure that my BPM was correct as well as the offset. I thought it was just me going crazy. Looks like I chose a song that is quite difficult to map for a beginner lol.
