Osu tracks what beatmaps you have and does not show that certain beatmap on the website this will stop you from accidently downloading duplicates!!! (Of the beatmap not the song itself.)
I downloaded a huge pack of beatmaps and i'm always downloading new beatmaps, I find that i already have most of them. (I have like 5000 beatmaps) so its a pain to see the ones i have in the search results.
