[confirmed] AutoPilot doesn't work at all in tag co-op

Explain the issue you are having:

AutoPilot fails after a couple seconds in tag co-op - the game does not respond to input. (The cutoff time is scaled with HalfTime or DoubleTime such that it's the same point in the song that it gets cut off at, not the same number of seconds)


Is it reproducible? If so, explain the steps to do so:

  • 1. Gather players in multiplayer match
    2. Turn on tag co-op or tag team versus
    3. Turn on AutoPilot mod
    4. Start song
    5. Skip intro, or don't, it doesn't matter
    6. Start playing
    7. After a couple seconds, input should stop
    8. The rare note here and there will get hit successfully.
    9. osu! explodes in a million pieces! Okay not really, but that was a funny line.

Notes / "fixes" we've tried:

[*] Spinners get completed successfully, because they do not require input due to how the mod works.
[*] This glitch requires the AutoPilot mod. The Relax mod works fine.
[*] Number of players does not matter.
[*] Order of players does not matter.
[*] Whether or not all players play does not matter.
[*] This glitch is also present on Tag Team vs. mode.

AutoPilot completely breaks in tag coop (it doesn't even take control of the cursor!)

It doesn't, but it also doesn't take control of the cursor during the couple seconds where it does work (as if it were osu!droid - even though the cursor/tap is in the wrong place, it still counts as hitting the note). Though I would also like that part fixed, I'm not sure how exactly that part would work - would it only move the cursor between your combos or between all the notes?

Moving to low priority to clear some front page, why would you even use autopilot in tag? o.o
