why most map spam the bookmark?

what the purpose of this?
and most of them time those bookmarks isn't aligned with beat divisor
I used all of my brain power to process

on both cases you mentioned, the bookmark spam is coincidentally placed on breaks/unmapped sections. in those scenarios, it is helpful to use this "technique" to specify for gders/in collabs which sections aren't gonna be mapped

or maybe i'm overthinking and they do it bcuz it looks cool lol what do i know

this isn't relevant to the topic it's in. Considering doing so in Modding Queues subforum isntead.

Get back to the topic, it's just mappers' choice. They may used it to divide parts of the song they're collabing, or indicate the rhythm, or as Railgun said, it just looks cool.

actually the reason is in collabs it denotes break areas so that the mappers dont map over the breaks

It just indicates how long does is the break section. But it's also fine if it's one time.

Overall, it's just the mapper's preference. Whether it looks cool or just a guideline.
For example: This map.
Most of the spammed bookmarks are on the hitobject.
