So I can play mid 5* on my computer with a 240hz monitor. But when I show my friend the game who is a new player I get constant hp drain on his setup and can't last longer than 10 seconds on a song. Am I crazy or does the monitor make that much of a difference?

Maybe it's the size difference of the monitors or maybe the sensitivity but the hz shouldn't matter much on lower star maps

does he perhaps.. have mouse buttons on?

Depending on the size of the monitor, the hz might affect your gameplay a little so if you both use really big monitors, suddenly lowering the hz might take a bit to get used to

I think it us a problem with tablet driver and latency

As he say that his friend is new player so i am assuming he is playing 2star and in 2star hz Don't really matter. Of course difference between 60hz and 240hz is big but not as big to not even able to pass.

I once played on a laptop with a res of 1920x1080 for a month, then I switched back to my laptop which was 1600x900... I played like garbage for like a week... fortunately all I had to do was lower my sens to 1.5x so that It feels the same as my original 1.8x on 1920x1080.

yea the refresh rate of the monitor makes a huge impact, at least for me, I played on a friends 90 hz monitor once, after that playing on my measly 27hz or so (idk the exact rating maybe 30 or 60 but not 90 for sure) that change felt too weird
