"Skin Maker" app development

Hey everyone!

We are currently working on a simple app that will (hopefully) make skinning easier and faster. We are in a very early phase of development (but working hard!) and we are looking for people who are at least a bit experienced in making skins for osu! and coders to help us out.

Stuff we need:
  1. feedback, feature ideas, testing by people who create osu skins
  2. help with code (C#, XAML)

Note, osu! lazer will have something like this by default in the client :)

That's very true and it's amazing, but if I'm right, it only supports layout edits (that means where certain elements are placed on the screen + it only works in lazer) so far. I'm not sure if there will be a way to edit elements as they are, like edit those .png files directly, or build a new skin using elements from templates and other skins. Next thing is back support for skins edited in lazer. I'm sure lazer will have an epic skin editor built in in future, but till then, something like our Skin Maker might be useful. ;)
