I own an XP-PEN Deco 01 V2, and I wanted to use it to play osu. I just got it yesterday and I downloaded the OEM Drivers for it, but people in the main chat in-game recommended me to use Hawku's Drivers, or OpenTablet Drivers preferably. I'm at a loss here since im quite new to this world of digital drawing and drawing tablets' usage.

I would appreciate some pointers and advice so me and anyone new to owning a Deco 01 could learn how to use it in osu as well as uninstalling the OEM drivers (which is my current problem at hand, idk where to uninstall them correctly on Windows 10 without leaving behind traces to clean install the new drivers.)

i use tablet driver named "Tabletdriver" (Nice name i know) and never used any other driver yet but I can say both driver is very good because many top players use it and your tablet is supported in both

to insure that you deleted your old tablet driver is by going to "Apps & features" and search your tablet driver name and if its do pop up then uninstall it

im getting an issue with opentablet and .NET framework, should I use a different driver then?

Do not use third party tablet drivers unless there is an issue with the default drivers, its usually a lot more hassle than its worth, and theres forever been debate over the fairness of using them. Some day they may not be allowed.

Idk about tablet driver much but for some reason players don't like to use original driver. I guess because its gave smoothing maybe or maybe the drivers they recommend is optimised for osu and customizable

Welp use them at ur own risk (or if u have to) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I suggest not though since there doesnt seem to be a reason to!

The name "made for osu" is more than enough to make players download it lol

Using 3rd party drivers is perfectly fine, and in the case of osu, it is much better than any OEM drivers you could use. The driver updated the most often and the one I have stuck with the longest is this https://opentabletdriver.net/ Now as for uninstalling your OEM drivers, you may need to go back to the website to download the install file, then run it and choose uninstall. If that doesn't work, go to your control panel. view by small icons, programs and features, and find the software and uninstall it. If that still doesn't work, you may need to go back to control panel, devices and printers, find your tablet and uninstall drivers there. Also I believe to run the OpenTabletDrivers you need the newest version of .NET Framework (or I just looked it's .NET 5) which you can find a direct download on the website here https://opentabletdriver.net/Wiki/Install/Windows
