when you are in the selecting the Beatmap the wallpaper will show the video or Storyboard at animation and (if possible) beats
video or Storyboard at animation provides an example that I showJacqli wrote:

Things like that could destroy peoples with weak RAM.
I also fear it. This is a cool idea but it would definitely not be acceptable for low-end PCs that struggle to play just a little video. Not to mention that there'd would be an increased loading time each time a song is clicked in the song select screen.Jacqli wrote:

it has 3 options Video,Storyboard or beats you can ative all,2,1 and nopeXPJ38 wrote:

Another toggle.... q.qlucalima99 wrote:

Basically this, a feature like this will have to be optional.boat wrote:
Honestly, having a preview like that in map select would be really cool, and as for the complains about it requiring a toggle, just about every significant visual element has one, I don't see what the big deal is about.
The argument of low end computers is stupid because things like these have to be and most likely will be optional.
It would be a bit tricky to implement, but everything you mentioned can be covered. It's not a waste of space because it can simply play in the background of the song select screen. imo the video shouldn't load for previews, and even so, map initialization should be running silently as I had suggested, and you should still be able to select the map mid-initialization. A feature like this would be easily togglable, and I don't know what you mean by an 'F' key toggle.TheVileOne wrote:

Seizure inducing maps can just have no preview, or just not have their sb.TheVileOne wrote:
Edit: not to mention the seizure warning would need to be implemented outside the song somehow.
the map will be loading the previewKitsunemimi wrote:

wtf no that's not how it works, it never shows up whether this option is enabled or notmarcostudios wrote:
Well...if you have the "Disable Video" enabled it will not show you a video-preview on Beatmap selection
Yeah i know it but i mean...if this feature request will be accepted it can be disabled if you have the "Disable Video" enabledXPJ38 wrote:
