This is more on the "pretty slider" subject and having some experience in mapping, some of my song choices have led me to believe that aesthetics have turned into a priority that progressively got more and more important especially when coinciding with my map-style
I mean, how important aesthetics are is definitely based on opinion... but I've grown more concerned since I wouldn't want my finished product to be... underwhelming at most (in my opinion) so one thing I've been improving on is slider aesthetics
One of the most recent examples I've seen such as Mimari's prozac and MaestroSplinter's Space Angel used a neat trick in which they made these distorted slider that while are shaped coherently, play as if they're glitched out or something like that
I know there are a couple of websites to help you make "pretty sliders" such as https://slider.little.moe/ by 'Little' but I was wondering if there are methods on how to make them or is it just as frustrating as I thought and I DO have to go out of my way to do so manually in the editor, because jesus christ it'd be exhausting if that's the case...
