Sad & Action anime?

Oh sorry, Missunderstanding. I though they asked for a Sad Anime and an Action Anime, not both of them.
Well, the only I know Sad and Action is Guilty Crown. How about Angel Beats? Is that Action enough? But the Ending is so.. You know, a little bit sad maybe.

Art is the only serious thing in the world, and the Artist is the only person who is never serious.

It's an Anime with a lot of episodes in it, a lot of Arcs too. Maybe yes.

Naruto too then. and One Piece. And Bleach.

Yeah, I think angel beats is a pretty good action anime that's sad as well~

Well I do not watched it yet but I think Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica is a very good anime with sadness and action.

My favorites are Steins;Gate, Angel Beats and Gosick. I don't know if Monogatari Series counts, but if so then it's my most favorite between these.
