Hi! actually i'm rarely playing taiko (but actually fun)
but i wanna know how taiko works on HR / no HR

sometimes i play muzukashii with HR , that notes goes so fast
and some maps notes was ok (since i'm lack of skills too)

did bpm affect taiko so much or od?

and yea , can anyone recommended some futsuu-muzu maps with 1-4* ranges? which fun and enjoyed playing with hr

like this map

and how taiko pp works? did many notes = many pp?

thankyou btw

For the pp part, there is this quite accurate calculator that you can use to better understand the weighting:
https://mon.im/taikopp/ (original post: https://osu.ppy.sh/community/forums/topics/472288)
There is also mine here (in case the original just disappears):
https://flrowo.github.io/w/other/tools/taiko/taikoppcalculator.html

Also, remember that we will (any time soon™) have a pp rework that will change this algorithm.

For the stuff about scroll velocity (notes going fast):
The scroll velocity (SV) is tied to the bpm of the map by default.
If with 100bpm the map has the SV of x, 200bpm will make the SV be 2x visually.
HR makes the map's SVs double the speed (if 16:9 full screen).

There are sv changes in taiko untied to the bpm, like in the last difficulty this map:
https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/1536015
^This map is 100% 146 bpm, but there are some custom SV changes depending on the sections.
These SV changes can be assigned to any length and position on the map and there is no limit for placing changes (talking about unranked maps here).

Lastly, I wish I could send you some map recommendations, but unfortunately I got my collections deleted recently.

rip collections

I hope this wall of text helped you instead of taking out your time lol
