In fact, i am wondering BECAUSE this topic.
I don't see how a silenced slider end could make any sense. If something is silenced then it means that there is nothing to highlght in the song (a beat or anything). In this case, why would you make a slider end here? and if there is something to highlight, why would you make the hitsound audible?or the thread itself? Because i have seen that topic and i frankly think that silencing hitobjects is a bad thing to do, like the poster of the post thinks.
According to the RC it is allowed but this tolerance make no sense imo >.>

I have the slider end there because the correct spot to end it would be at the beat, but there is a different long sound starting which also needs emphasis. That leaves me three options:
1. I use circles for each of those flowing and long sounds. (Unfitting)
2. I have one slider end at the same moment a different slider starts. (UNRANKABLE because unplayable)
3. I dont emphasize the "me". (Unfitting)

Basically Ranking Criteria is outdated and according to it silent objects are fine if they make sense, but according to QAT members' disqualifications and shit they're a no-go. Furthermore, as Kurai pointed out, silent objects will never make sense, unless overmapped, and we all know what happens when someone overmaps shit (Hollow Wings etc.). This is a rhythm game after all.
This is also why I hate extended sliders, but because everyone uses them for some fuckin' reason I'm too lazy to point them out in my mods anymore. Nobody is ever changing them anyway.

Apparently my friend's German Shepherd puppy really adores popcorn... he ate almost a kilo of it with me during a movie.
