Skin import is initialising...

That is the message that displays in the notifications bar under running tasks and it wont go off of this message. No matter what I do I can't seem to import my skins as this doesn't work and this so far is the only way I know how to import my skins from stable.

please help

edit
dragging osk files into !lazer doesnt work either and it comes up with the same message that is stuck forever "Skin import is initialising..."

You might have to try reinstalling lazer tbh lots lazer issues we dont really know how to fix besides that. You should report this problem here: https://github.com/ppy/osu/issues though before doing that, see if the devs can thonk of anything (normally this would be posted in the Help forum, but lazer issues go that a-way^)
