Found this on Kickstarter:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/529 ... tick-mouse
It's a ball mouse in the form factor of a pen. I'm interested in seeing how it well it would perform in osu!
Some of the pros that I see are:
- Pen form factor may let some people have more control over traditional mice
- Unlike tablet+pen, the tip is a ball, and can roll on different surfaces (not necessarily constrained to a tablet). This probably has the added benefit of not wearing out pen nibs, if you're the kind of guy who wears out the pen nibs.
Cons:
- Seems highly uncomfortable to use the button clicks on the gStick; you'll probably have to play with the keyboard keys.
- Relative tracking only
- Also seems that you need to maintain the orientation of the gStick to get it to go where you want it
Anyone else have further thoughts about using this device for osu!?
