Just a modding queue I made to help stimulate the Taiko modding community, and to get my own maps closer to ranking. As the title suggests, the focus will be on Taiko maps. Currently I'm fairly motivated at getting my map ranked, so I'll be motivated in modding! I have a few preferences, rules, and general information that I would like to tell you about before we get started though.
Posting rules:
1) TAIKO MAPS ONLY. You can post a mapset with osu!standard maps in it, but I will only mod the taiko difficulties.
2) No Marathon maps or maps specifically made to be approved/graveyarded (Big Black, for example). I don't have time for Marathon maps, and I don't want to waste the time I have on maps that won't get ranked.
3) One Mapset per customer, 5 Taiko difficulties maximum. If you have a mapset with more than 5 taiko difficulties, tell me which ones to mod.
4) Inform me if you want the timing to be done. I'm not bad at finding offsets and BPM changes. Just please don't complain when you have to resnap the difficulties you mapped before you got it properly timed.
5) Warn me about 18+ beatmap elements (combo bursts, backgrounds, etc). There are younger kids where I mod and I don't want to accidentally expose them to that kind of stuff. I don't mind modding these maps, but I respect and practice the rating system.
Modding Rules:
1) THIS IS M4M. M4M or "Mod for Mod" is a process where in exchange for modding one of my maps, I'll mod yours to make it worth your time.
2) You mod FIRST, I mod SECOND. I will not take in another map until I am done your mod, even if the queue has an open space. To make sure that I don't waste my time and my queue space by modding without being modded back, I need to confirm that I have received the mod beforehand.
3) EXPLAIN YOUR SUGGESTIONS. "k here" or "fix this pattern" doesn't help. "A k would sound good here because the drums in the song play a snare at that point" or "Try focusing on accenting this part of the song by using [EXAMPLE]" are great ways to tell me what to fix. Don't just tell me what to fix, but why I should fix it.
4) If you did not understand anything in my mod, ask for clarification via PM or IRC chat.
Note: I only speak english, but I am willing to put my mod through google translator if you are more comfortable with that. I will include both the english mod and the translation.
Please PM me with any questions, concerns, etc.
