Best seen when there are 4+ timing sections, each has its own BPM
Maybe title says all. Why not show the BPM of where we are in the song on the osu! cookie in Song Select, when there are a lot of timing sections, to save time, instead of going to the editor and then checking Timing so we have a look at every single BPM? If this feature is already requested, sorry, I can't even search since the results are posts not topics...

If you don't understand anything, I'm really sorry, I'm starting to be shit at English...

I thought osu! already displayed the range of BPMs of the song in the top left? I seem to remember DM Ashura's "Delta Max" having a BPM of 100 ~ 573.

I think he means he wants to see the current BPM on the osu! cookie (I'd imagine in a way similar to the way the input button indicators show total keyboard/mouse presses in replays).

Personally I don't think this is that useful. Plus, I don't really see where on the cookie we could fit the number. It would just overlap and look ugly I think...

I think this would look best under the Jukebox, not on the cookie (I mean, come on, it's the official logo!). Just my idea. I myself don't really care for this; neutral here.

Why do you need to know what BPM a specific part of a song is?

^ basically this.

And you'd have to want to know it for all the songs too. And they'd all have to be variable BPM for it to be useful too.

If it's only like one random case out of many, going into the editor to check isn't that hard.

ik, it's not hard, but as I said, it should save time, tell you the BPM of the current part in the song, a--oh

Replace the word osu! with the BPM?

And another thing: It'll also save some megabytes in a beatmap with tons of timing sections and BPMs. Take Jumpy Pattern Compilation for example. JesusYamato (now Waryas) didn't make any SB, and the compilation has a lot of songs, each one has a separate BPM, so if he decides to create some SB to show the BPM, maybe this feature should save megabytes and display the BPM instantly... Without the need of any SB...
