Before I dicuss the suggestion, I want explain how I found this problem. I used to be a tablet user of about two years. Recently, due to work I don't have much time to play OSU! comparing to before. Only playing on spare time, I got lazy of plugging in my tablet and started to use my mouse to play.
So recently I played some extremely long beatmaps with absolutely no breaks and I noticed a problem. Unlike most tablet setting and other playing devices, mouse's center placement isn't always at the same spot. I found my mouse moving "out" of my mousepad after like 1000+combo and due to no break I can't put my mouse back at a better position. I know there are other solutions like buying a bigger mousepad and I know this doesn't apply to all mouse users, but I still want to suggest mappers to add short break on these kind of beatmaps. Even an 1second pause can work perfectly.

imo this is not the place where do you go ask for this things. I think it must be posted on Gameplay forum?

anyways, In case I met a beatmap like this, i usually paused the game when i saw loonnggggg slider (after clicking the slider ofc). I'm a mouse user too and i had to replace my mouse often while playing

this is a modding issue sadly, not a feature request :(

It's no one's fault, really. You're basically saying "My hand gets tired because I'm too lazy to use a tablet so add more breaks."

Not gonna work, most likely.

a) Go back to tablet
b) Increase mouse sensitivity ingame so that you won't need to move your mouse as much

No, what I ment by is when playing with mouse, center placement can move. So when playing your hand can start moving toward the edge of the mousepad. And you can't really do anything about it. It doesn't happen on most maps because a quick move of the mouse can save the problem, but on a 2000combo map with absolutly no pause this can be different. And again this is only a suggestion, I personally is not bothered much by it.

Oh and sorry. I am not sure where I should post this.

you can always reposition your mouse during slow parts

I guess i forgot to add high bpm, not all maps have slow parts. Well uh I guess for some players there always is.

Ok I am going to stop replying. This shouldn't be post here.

i'll just deny this since there isn't a need for discussion. as i said earlier, this is a issue with modding. i'm not 100% sure where you could post this. however if you wanted to, you could try contact a BAT and voice your concern to them :)

you'll need a couple of recent maps to support your concern though

p.s. please learn to use the edit function instead of double posting :)

Get used to a higher sensitivty. I use a mouse, and even on the hardest and longest maps I never need to adjust its position. Or just don't use a mousepad. I play on a wood table and I find it a great surface to play on.
