I had at least a few people ask me on Discord how to set up Lazer using crouton, so I'm making this thread. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, check it out here: https://github.com/dnschneid/crouton

1.) Using crouton, install either Ubuntu Bionic Beaver or Focal Fossa. These are the two Linux updates that actually work with osu!lazer, and thus, the streams you want to use.

Bionic Beaver steps: https://github.com/dnschneid/crouton/wiki/3-Steps-to-Install-Bionic-Beaver
Focal Fossa steps: https://github.com/dnschneid/crouton/issues/4265#issuecomment-689346174

2.) Once crouton is set up, enter the command in your terminal to open Ubuntu.

3.) Download the .appImage file from the GitHub site found here: https://github.com/ppy/osu/releases
-Side note: Make sure to mark the file as executable. This can be done by opening the terminal and cd into the folder that Lazer is in. You then enter sudo chmod +x osu!.appImage. This marks the file as an executable.

4.) Once this is done, run Lazer by using the command ./osu!.appImage, or by simply double clicking the file itself

5.) One final thing: when configuring Lazer, under the audio options, it is important to choose Chromium Audio server as your audio device, and not PulseAudio server! Pulse will make your music offbeat, and thus make your experience very annoying. CRAS will keep the music on point, so that you don't have to mess around with the offset setting.

After that, just enjoy the game! I hope this helps at least someone.
